Terms of Service
The rules for using FindUid.net. Effective October 31, 2026.
1. Agreement
By using finduid.net ("the Site"), its tools, its blog, its API or its paid Boost service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. We may change these Terms; the effective date above tells you when the current version took effect, and continuing to use the Site after a change means you accept the new version.
These Terms work together with our Privacy Policy.
2. The free tools are provided "as is"
The ID lookup tools, downloaders and utilities on the Site are free, and they are provided as is and as available, without any warranty of any kind — express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability.
The tools read data that Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X and YouTube publish publicly. When those platforms change how they serve their pages, a tool may return a wrong result or stop working entirely. We fix what we can, when we can. We do not guarantee uptime, response times, or that any particular tool will keep existing. We may change, rate-limit, or remove any tool at any time without notice.
We also do not guarantee that a result is correct. Verify anything important yourself before acting on it.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use automated scripts, bots, headless browsers or any form of bulk scraping against the Site; the free tools are for interactive, human use, and the API exists for programmatic access;
- circumvent rate limits, reCAPTCHA, caching or any other technical restriction, or resell or re-expose the free tools as your own service;
- use the Site to harass, stalk, dox, impersonate, threaten or target any person or group, or to build a profile of someone against their wishes;
- use the Site to infringe copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights;
- attempt to access private accounts, private groups, deleted content or any data a platform does not make public;
- attack or probe the Site's infrastructure, or interfere with other users' access to it;
- use the Site in any way that violates the terms of service of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube or any other third-party platform, or any law that applies to you.
You are responsible for complying with each platform's own terms. Using our tools does not grant you any right under those terms, and we are not a party to them. We may block any IP address, account or request pattern that breaks these rules, without notice and without refund.
4. Downloaded content is your responsibility
Our downloaders give you a direct link to media that the platform is already serving publicly. We do not host, store, mirror or own that media, and we do not grant you any licence to it. Copyright stays with whoever created it.
You alone are responsible for what you do with anything you download. In most jurisdictions, saving a copy for private personal use is treated differently from re-uploading, editing, monetising, advertising with, or redistributing someone else's work. If you do not hold the rights or a permitted exception, get permission from the creator. If you are not sure, ask a lawyer — we cannot give you legal advice.
5. Accounts, API and the paid Boost service
Some parts of the Site require an account (the API panel and the Boost dashboard). You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys secret and for everything done with them. Tell us at [email protected] if you believe a key has leaked.
5.1 Boost orders
- Boost ("social media boost" / SMM) orders are fulfilled through third-party providers. We pass your order on to a provider; we do not control how a provider delivers it.
- Delivery speed and final counts are estimates, not promises. The quantity and price shown at checkout are what you are ordering; anything else is best effort.
- Your target link or username must be public and must stay public and unchanged for the whole duration of the order. If you set the account to private, change the username, or delete the post, the order can fail and is not refundable.
- Orders cannot be cancelled or changed once they have been sent to a provider and started processing.
- Refunds or partial refunds are issued at our discretion, normally when an order fails or under-delivers through no fault of yours. Contact us with your order code.
- Platform metrics can drop over time for reasons entirely outside our control (platform audits, cleanups, algorithm changes). We do not guarantee that delivered numbers will persist, and we offer no refill guarantee unless a specific service page says so.
- We may refuse or cancel any order — for example one aimed at content that is illegal, hateful, or targets a private individual — and refund it.
- Boost services are sold for your own accounts and content. Buying engagement may breach the target platform's terms of service, and any consequence of that on your account is your risk alone. Do not order for an account you do not control.
5.2 API
- API plans are prepaid and subject to the quota shown on your plan. Exceeding a quota results in throttling or blocked requests, not an automatic upgrade.
- Unused quota does not roll over between billing periods unless your plan explicitly says so.
- Do not share or resell your API key.
6. No affiliation with the platforms
FindUid.net is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, certified by or in any way officially connected to:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Threads, WhatsApp
- TikTok / ByteDance Ltd.
- X Corp. — X, formerly Twitter
- Google LLC — YouTube
"Facebook", "Instagram", "TikTok", "X", "Twitter", "YouTube" and all related names, logos and marks are trademarks of their respective owners. We use them only nominatively — that is, to describe which platform a tool works with — and claim no rights in them. Any such reference on this Site is descriptive, not a claim of partnership or approval.
If you need help with your own account on one of those platforms, contact that platform. We cannot recover, unlock, verify or appeal anything on your behalf.
7. Third-party links and services
The Site links to third-party websites and uses third-party services (Google Analytics, Google reCAPTCHA, payment processors, Boost providers, advertising). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FindUid.net and the people who run it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill, account access, reach or followers, arising out of or connected with your use of the Site — whether the claim is in contract, tort, negligence or anything else, and whether or not we were warned the loss was possible.
In particular, we are not liable for: a tool returning a wrong, stale or incomplete result; a platform suspending, restricting or penalising your account; a third-party Boost provider under-delivering; or anything you do with content you obtained through the Site.
Where liability cannot legally be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you actually paid us in the three months before the claim arose, or (b) USD 50. The free tools are provided at no charge, so for those the applicable amount is nil.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions of warranty or liability. Nothing here removes a right you have that cannot be waived under the law that applies to you.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold FindUid.net harmless from any claim, demand, loss or cost (including reasonable legal fees) brought by a third party and arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your use of content you obtained through the Site.
10. Copyright and takedowns
We respect copyright. We do not host social media media files, but if something served from finduid.net infringes your rights, send a notice to [email protected]. The information a valid notice needs is listed in the Privacy Policy.
11. Termination and severability
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or to any account at any time if you breach these Terms. You may stop using the Site at any time. If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
12. Contact
